The year in this world is 2010. There is not much difference between the world of advent and our world, except, in this world, humans live together with a ton of other races. Also, in this world, magic has been around for millions of years, and every being on the planet knows how to use it, but, there are many types of magic and not all people know the same kind of magic, some are weaker in force then others, and some are stronger in technique then other kinds of magic. The technologi is basicly the same as in our world. Young ones still go to school and adults still go to work, but work has become alot easier now that magic is around. There are people in this world that has abandoned the use of magic and lives in excile in the mountains, they find magic to be unnatural, and live their lives without it.
